From Clipboard to Code: Building Scalable Digital Systems for Music Therapy Practice
Abstract
This Professional Development Seminar introduces a practical framework for integrating digital tools into music therapy practice across clinical settings.
Drawing on applications in both hospital-based and community work, the session will demonstrate how platforms such as Airtable, Canva, Replit, and QR systems can support documentation, resource distribution, co-designed interventions, and digital legacy processes.
The workshop will focus on building scalable, financially accessible systems that respond to increasing administrative demands in music therapy, including those aligned with NDIS reporting and inpatient documentation. Participants will be guided through system design examples including database templates, automated forms, and interactive artefacts.
The session will also address ethical considerations and compliance when using digital platforms.
All attendees will receive a resource pack containing templates and examples to support immediate integration into practice.
