Biography
Greg Scott has led accommodation portfolio development at the University of Canterbury for the past two years, following a career in education management and teaching, focussed on the international and business education sectors. He was previously the General Manager for Industry Development at NZ crown agency Education New Zealand and education sector lead at NZ Trade and Enterprise. Greg has also held roles in the tertiary sector as a Principal Lecturer in accounting, International Dean and Director of one of NZ's leading school international colleges.
He is excited by the opportunities to further develop value for the students and the University from a vibrant campus living community, and further enhance the experiences of increasing numbers of international students.
Outside of work, Greg is married with three adult children and enjoys exploring beautiful corners of NZ's outdoor environment, travelling to learn more from other cultures, amateur music-making and running as far and fast as possible at his age!
