Megan is the Clinical Nurse Consultant for Liver Transplant and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She has been in this role for almost 10 years and has been instrumental in developing the HCC nursing role over this time. Megan is responsible for managing patients both pre and post liver transplant, and all aspects of HCC care including systemic therapies and clinical trials. Megan is passionate about providing holistic, multidisciplinary care to her patients and their carers and is constantly looking for ways to improve services, particularly for regional patients. Megan is a current Board member of the Australasian Hepatology Association and state secretary for the Transplant Nurses Association.
