Anna is an experienced Functional Gut Clinical Nurse Consultant who manages patients with functional gut disorders as part of a team of Gastroenterologists, Psychiatrists, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists and Dietitians in the St Vincent's Hospital Functional Gut Clinic since 2017. Anna sees her own patient caseload in the Functional Gut Clinic, where she provides bowel, toileting and medication education. She also plays a crucial role in coordinating the complex multidisciplinary care of patients seen in the clinic. The role includes implementing Multidisciplinary plans, coordinating plans with inpatient teams, GPs and other external care providers. Anna is actively involved in clinical research and advocacy efforts aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of functional gut disorders.
