Dr Elena George is a Senior Research Fellow and Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian with a PhD in clinical nutrition. Dr George is in the top 0.6% of researchers globally and the leading Australian Dietitian expert in metabolic associated fatty liver disease (expertscape.com). She has unique expertise in designing dietary interventions for chronic disease management and is interested in translational research, in particular enhancing evidence-based practice in dietetics through research. Dr George has experience as a clinician running her own successful private practice for over 10 years and a research dietitian in tertiary hospitals.
