Dr Walston Martis, MBChB BMedSci (Hons) GcClinUS GChPOM FANZCA, is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Monash Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre with clinical interests in perioperative medicine, thoracic, upper gastrointestinal, and oncological anaesthesia. He is Clinical Head of Perioperative Medicine and Clinical Lead for Thoracic Anaesthesia at Monash Health, and leads the clinical immersion component of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) Graduate Chapter of Perioperative Medicine. Dr Martis holds academic appointments at Monash University and the University of Melbourne. His work focuses on perioperative optimisation, anaesthesia for major surgery, and multidisciplinary models of perioperative care
