David Deitz is the Principal of Smith’s Hill High School, Wollongong. He has 30 years of teaching experience across 7 different school settings with the NSW Department of Education. In 2023, he was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital after sustaining a high-level spinal cord injury during a competitive cycling event. David is a passionate educator with a keen interest in the impact of positive relationships on the delivery of intended outcomes within schools and other organisations
