Mark is an emergency department nurse practitioner at St Vicnents Hospital in Sydney, having a clinical background in intensive care in Australia and the UK, flight nursing experience, Hospital in the Home and 5 years spent as a vascular access clinical nurse consultant inserting central venous access devices for all clinical specialties across St Vicnents.

Evan Alexandrou is a Clinical Associate Professor with the School of Nursing at the University of Wollongong Australia, as well as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the Intensive Care Unit at Liverpool Hospital where he coordinates the Central Venous Access Service which is renowned for its clinical expertise in vascular access procedures and research. Evan is involved in clinical education at an undergraduate and postgraduate level for Nursing and Medical training programs and is a conjoint Senior Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Evan is also an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Alliance for Vascular Access Teaching and Research (AVATAR) at Griffith University and a foundation member of the Australian Vascular Access Society.

Tanya is an experienced clinical nurse consultant with a background in haem-oncology and has developed excellence in advanced practice skills in central and peripheral vascular access over many years and has set up a successful, hospital wide vascular access service at St George.

Anthony Marshall a Nurse Practitioner employed full time by the Western Sydney Health District. His current interests are in the area of vascular access in the acute, chronic, and ambulatory adult populations. He is involved in the development and implementation of vascular access procedures and policies at an LHD and state level for both the CEC and ACI and at the national level with the Australian Vascular Access Society. Anthony provides clinical training and education for vascular access and provides formal vascular access training and accreditation for WSLHD and NSW health nursing and medical staff. Anthony is the previous NSW chair and current member for the Australian Vascular Access Society (AVAS), and in his spare time he tries to be a devoted husband, father of three and avid beekeeper.
Felicity McLaren

Felicity is a Nurse Practitioner in Vascular Access and has a background in Adult Intensive Care. Felicity coordinates the vascular access service which includes managing patients with complex vascular access needs and insertion and management of central venous access devices across the hospital

Craig McManus Central Venous Access Clinical Nurse Consultant with a keen interest in improving Vascular Access practices. He has experience in the development of protocols and pathways for vascular access within Liverpool hospital and the SWSLHD. He is involved in training, education and accreditation of Nursing and Medical staff for insertion as well as care and maintenance of vascular access devices. He has presented at numerous pre-conference workshops for vascular access. His research teams have won a NSW Health Award and have been finalists on two other occasions.
Nicholas Mifflin

Nicholas Mifflin is a clinical nurse consultant for the Central Venous Access at Liverpool Hospital and vascular access specialist nurse at The Wollongong Hospital. He is the current President of the Australian Vascular Access Society. Nicholas is involved in clinical education at an undergraduate and postgraduate level for Nursing and Medical training programs. He is a recipient of the Australian Overseas Humanitarian Service Medal for works conducted in Banda Ache following the 2004 Indian ocean tsunami.
