Kylie Smith is the manager of the Emergency Care Institute, NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation. As a health leader Kylie’s experience covers a diverse range of clinical, operational and strategic management roles, developing advanced skills in leading and managing staff and services across varied contexts. Kylie has extensive experience in project management within Emergency Departments, the NSW Whole of Health Program and District Cancer and Surgical services, facilitating and communicating with clinical specialty networks, facility and district executives. Over the past 4 years at the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation Kylie led the state-wide Emergency Care Assessment and Treatment Program which has engaged hundreds of clinicians and health pillar leaders across NSW to standardise and elevate emergency nurse-initiated care and education.
