Marguerite De Fazio is a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED) at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. She holds a Bachelor of Paramedicine (ACU) and an entry-to-practice Master of Nursing Science (University of Melbourne). Marguerite is dedicated to improving paediatric care in the emergency department and contributing to quality nursing education and trauma care. In 2024/25 she worked as a Lead Preceptor, mentoring and supervising Graduate nurses, and completed the RCH BEST (Building Evidence with Support to Transform) Practice Program gaining experience in nursing research and quality improvement. She was nominated for a RCH Nursing Excellence Award in Education in 2025. Outside of work, Marguerite enjoys spending time with her Murray River Retriever Rollo, and all things coffee and food in typical Melbourne style.
