Suhair Althagafi is a PhD candidate at the School of Nursing, Queensland University of Technology. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2013 and subsequently held a lecturer position at Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. In 2021, she completed a master's degree in advanced practice nursing at QUT. Currently, her PhD research focuses on developing appropriateness criteria for oxycodone prescriptions for pain management in adult emergency departments.
