Sarah Bornstein is an emergency nurse based in Darwin who has worked in Emergency Departments across Australia for 15 years. She holds a Master of Global Health, a Master of Clinical Nursing with emergency specialisation, a Master of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts.
Since 2018, Sarah has focussed her work and research in the Pacific, and is currently working for the Regional Emergency and Critical Care Systems Strengthening Initiative as the nursing advisor for emergency care and the monitoring, evaluation and learning coordinator. She is currently completing a PhD focussed on partnership approaches to acute care system strengthening in the Pacific region.
Sarah hopes to strengthen genuine collaboration in the region, and provide an opportunity to strengthen local leadership, systems, and initiatives for Pacific emergency nurses.
