Jon Karnon is a professor of health economics in which he has almost 30 years’ experience. He was president of the Health Services Research Association of Australia and New Zealand from 2014 to 2018. His current research focus is on the evaluation of proposed and implemented health care services and programs, including a multi-state economic evaluation of the range of virtual ED services that have been implemented in recent years.
