Biography

Na is an experienced nurse currently working in the Emergency and Intensive Care Units at Monash Health and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Day Surgery Unit at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is completing a Master of Nursing at Monash University, where she also works as a Research Assistant. Her research interests focus on digital health, nursing technology, and practice in high-acuity settings such as the ED/ICU. Na brings a wealth of clinical experience, having worked for eight years in the General Surgery Department at Beijing Friendship Hospital, China, and for over 17 years in the Australian healthcare system. She holds two Bachelor of Nursing degrees: one awarded by Peking Union Medical College through China’s Self-Taught Higher Education Examination system, and another from the University of South Australia. Na’s current research explores factors influencing nurses’ readiness to accept and adopt digital health technologies in acute care environments.
