I began my health career at The Northen Hospital in Melbourne Victoria in 2008. There I quickly developed a love of Emergency Nursing and left as an ED ANUM to pursue a career in Paramedicine in 2008. Now a manager at Ambulance Victoria's Secondary Triage Service I remain loyal to my ED roots and advocate tirelessly for improvements in pre-hospital patient safety and care that also seek to reduce the burden on other areas of the healthcare system, namely our Emergency Departments. I hold a very strong belief that Ambulance Services and Health Services must work together to ensure a prosperous future for emergency care in Australia
