Dr Huang is a senior lecturer (Acute Care) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. She is an adjunct research fellow at the Griffith University and an adjunct senior lecturer at Southern Cross University. Her research focus includes the evidence-based practice, nursing education and clinical research. Specifically, the clinical research focuses on vulnerable populations, especially older people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with chronic conditions, palliative care and end-of-life care in acute care settings, especially in emergency departments. One of her passions is to improve care delivery to patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in the emergency department using evidence-based approach. She has a number of teaching, clinical and research highlights in her nursing career. The most highlight is “The Vice Chancellor Award for Research Excellence: Inspiring Researcher (Deans’ Nomination), Southern Cross University.”
