Biography

Rebecca Brown is a Registered Nurse with close to two decades of clinical experience, she has worked across emergency, critical care, and trauma services. She is Currently Trauma Coordinator/Program Manager at Canberra Health Services. Rebecca is actively involved in trauma research, quality improvement, and education, with recent work focused on chest injury management, injury prevention, and outcomes for older trauma patients. She is passionate about evidence-based practice and using data to drive system-level change. Rebecca also has a strong interest in disaster preparedness and mass casualty response, contributing to simulation-based planning and training. Known for her clinical insight and strategic thinking, she advocates for safe, timely, and coordinated trauma care. Rebecca brings a blend of frontline experience and leadership to her work, helping shape resilient trauma systems that meet the complex needs of patients and teams.
