Dr. Harris LAM is the Chief Nursing Officer of Hong Kong Hospital Authority, is responsible for nursing service development and professional nursing development. He graduated as a RN at Yan Chai Hospital in 1985 and later Nurse Specialist in A&E for 14 years. He was promoted to Department Operations Manager of A&E & SOPD in 2011 and became the General Manager (Nursing) at RTSKH in 2017. In addition, Dr. LAM has served the Government Flying Service as Flight Nurse for 21 years, and contributes to nursing education at different tertiary institutes of Hong Kong. In academic, Dr. LAM earned his nursing degree at Charles Sturt University, Graduate Diploma in A&E Nursing, Master of Nursing and Master of Health Administration in Australia. Lastly, he graduated from Doctor of Business Administration at UMT in USA in 2022. His research interest includes EBP in Emergency Nursing and pragmatic research in clinical nursing.
