When Is Sepsis Care Delayed? A Tasmanian Retrospective Emergency Department Study
11:50 AM - 12:10 PMBiography
I am a Registered Nurse and Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Tasmania, with clinical experience across emergency nursing, cardiology, stroke, and general medicine. I completed a Bachelor of Nursing, Clinical Honours in Violence and Health, Graduate Certificates in Cardiology and Emergency Nursing, and a Graduate Diploma in Cardiology through the University of Tasmania, as well as a Master of Bioethics through the University of Sydney.
My current research focuses on delayed initiation of sepsis pathways in emergency departments, with broader interests in sepsis recognition, triage processes, and improving early responses to time-critical clinical deterioration.
