Biography

Bec Cole is an Emergency Medicine clinician with 16 years of experience and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care, education, and the people she works alongside. She has a deep love for her department and a slightly unhealthy enthusiasm for making education more interesting! She works in Tasmania and thrives on the chaos, challenge, and incredible teamwork that come with Emergency Medicine. Bec has developed a range of education and wellbeing initiatives within her ED, including the Cold Debrief program, which supports multidisciplinary and multi-agency case discussion following challenging clinical events. She is particularly interested in building supportive teams and finding practical, engaging ways to make learning memorable. She believes good education doesn’t have to be boring, and that strong teamwork can make even the toughest shifts a little easier
