Could it be Sepsis?? Improving emergency sepsis care in North West Tasmania.
12:25 PM - 12:30 PMBiography
Kate is a “mainlander” who relocated to Tasmania three years ago with her family. She has over 23 years’ nursing experience, predominantly in emergency and critical care settings. She currently works in Emergency at North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) and holds postgraduate qualifications in emergency nursing and a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).
Identifying a gap in evidence based sepsis care, Chloe and Kate have collaboratively developed and implemented a multidisciplinary quality improvement approach to enhance emergency sepsis recognition and management.
