The Snowdome Effect: Pigment Dispersion Syndrome, a case study.
Abstract
Pigment Dispersion Syndrome/Glaucoma is a condition whereby pigment cells from the iris are shed and accumulate in the anterior chamber and trabecular meshwork. This may lead to raised intraocular pressure and can be exacerbated by physical exercise. This presentation looks at the case of a patient referred to the clinic with a history of elevated IOP, his test results and diagnosis and his risk factors.
