Dr Olivia Holland is a Lecture and Lead of the Pregnancy Research Laboratory at Griffith University and a Principal Research Fellow with Women–Newborn–Children Services at Gold Coast Health. Her research focuses on improving the understanding and prediction of pregnancy complications, particularly gestational diabetes mellitus and preeclampsia, to improve maternal and perinatal outcomes. By integrating routine clinical data with advanced placental and circulating molecular analyses, her work aims to support earlier risk identification and more personalised, high-value care.
