Liza Tilia is a senior hospital scientist and clinical embryologist at the Fertility and Research Centre, Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick and has extensive experience in the field of artificial reproductive technologies. She is presently collaborating in oocyte research with the University of New South Wales. Her PhD thesis entitled ‘Is There a Link Between Oocyte Meiotic Spindle Normality and Embryo Ploidy?’ earned a Dean’s Award. Liza has published manuscripts on aspects of the meiotic spindle using polarised light microscopy and has presented at several ESHRE and FSANZ conferences. Her interests include the oocyte and preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
