Dr. Ruan de Bruin is an embryologist with six years of experience in assisted reproductive technologies. He began his career in South Africa, spending four years in a private human IVF clinic. He then transitioned to the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Pretoria as a post-doctoral researcher, focusing on establishing a repeatable IVF program for endangered rhinoceros species. In 2023, Dr. de Bruin moved to Australia, joining the scientific team at Westmead Fertility Centre. He actively contributes to human IVF and shares his expertise by teaching IVF at the University of Sydney. His diverse background, spanning human and veterinary embryology, coupled with his dedication to wildlife conservation, makes him a valuable contributor to the field.
