Dr Sharyn Stock-Myer leads the PGT team that supports individuals and couples who are navigating genetic conditions on their journey to having a healthy child. With a PhD in molecular genetics and professional experience from New Zealand and Germany, she found preimplantation genetic testing to be a natural way to combine her love of genetics with a strong commitment to helping families. Sharyn joined Melbourne IVF in 2002 (now part of Virtus Health), where she established the programme for testing embryos for single gene conditions. She has served as Scientific Director of the PGT department at Virtus Health since 2016. Over the years, the PGT team at Virtus Health has helped thousands of families move forward with confidence toward the dream of a healthy child.
