Abstract
Are you someone that gets a little nervous whenever you're asked to get the endoscope out? Endoscopes are one of the more complicated and expensive pieces of equipment in our practices and many nurses are unsure about the set up, cleaning, nursing and equipment support required during these procedures. Become confident in how your endoscope works and how to look after both your patient and equipment during this session.
Biography
Jasmine Pengelly Cert IV VN, TAE, DipVN (ECC), AVN, RVN
Jasmine is an AVNAT registered veterinary nurse with a range of experience across referral and general practice in both nursing and management capacities. She has lectured throughout Australia and internationally with an emphasis on clinical veterinary nursing skills and knowledge.
Jasmine has been a trainer and assessor of veterinary nurses for the past 17 years and has volunteered for the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia since 2008. She served 7 years on the VNCA Board including a two year term as President. She currently works at East Port Veterinary Hospital in Port Macquarie as a small animal nurse.
