So you want to be an equine nurse?

Abstract

When the life of a veterinary nurse crosses paths with a childhood passion for horses, is it the best of both worlds or a labour of love?

Equine Veterinary Nursing provides nurses with a unique opportunity to combine their jobs with their love of horses. Due to the size, nature of the patients and their unique attributes, the core skills and knowledge required to start out and grow into a successful Equine Veterinary Nurse, will be explored. Along with case and practical examples to help those nurses starting out on their equine journey, more experienced and seasoned nurses will increase their base knowledge to provide superior care and management of their patients.

Equine Nursing really is the best of both worlds
