Sponsored Breakfast Session - Veterinary nursing skills review
Abstract
With growing demand for a broader range of veterinary nursing skills to support animal care across diverse environments and species, it is crucial that nationally endorsed qualifications and training package products reflect the full scope of industry needs.
Skills Insight has commenced a new project to consult with industry on the critical skills required in veterinary nursing and improve how these are reflected in national training package products.
This session is your opportunity to learn about the project, share your insights, and explore ways to contribute.
The first step in the project will involve a skills analysis. Your input is crucial to being able to come up with potential solutions that benefit employers, trainers, learners and businesses.
Skills Insight is a not-for-profit, government-funded, industry-led organisation and one of ten Jobs and Skills Councils. We work with stakeholders who share a passion for improving skills and training across the agribusiness, fibre and furnishings industries. For more information, visit skillsinsight.com.au
