Sponsored Breakfast Session: Focus on fibre - gastrointestinal disease
Abstract
Fibre in pet food offers numerous benefits and treats an array of conditions, some of which might surprise you! Gastrointestinal disease is where the benefits of fibre really shine, however it can be confusing to know what blend of fibres is most appropriate for each circumstance or when to reach for a fibre-enhanced diet. When providing a dietary recommendation, it’s important to assess the pet’s needs and explain why a specific blend of fibre has been recommended, communicate appropriate sources, dosages and follow up. In this presentation, we will discuss how to select the right fibre-enhanced product for your patient’s needs and support your clients from recommendation to follow up.
