Her remarkable journey from the shopfloor to the boardroom is marked by key roles, including Industry Professor and Program Director at the University of Adelaide, where she influenced the future of the wine business through education and research.
As Program Director at the Australian Centre for Retail Studies at Monash University, Marni enhanced retail sector innovation by designing and delivering executive programs. Her leadership as CEO of Food South Australia was pivotal in advancing the food sector during challenging times, fostering industry growth through strategic partnerships. As Chair of McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism, she elevated the region’s global reputation as a premier destination for wine and tourism.
Additionally, as Chair of Wine Communicators of Australia, Marni played a key role in connecting and developing professionals within the Australian wine industry. Marni’s philosophy is rooted in creating practical, tangible tools and frameworks, translating complex, evidence-based models into user-friendly insights that can be easily learned and applied.
